Beginner Figure Drawing Class

I recently taught a three-session beginner figure drawing course focused on gesture, rhythm, and simplifying the body into basic shapes to better understand form and proportion. Through quick studies and structured exercises, students learned to see the figure more intuitively and build confidence in their drawing foundations.

Alongside this course, I’ve also been hosting weekly figure drawing sessions at my studio to cultivate a stronger sense of community and make nude figure drawing—still relatively rare in Singapore—more accessible. I believe it’s an essential part of art education, and these sessions provide a supportive space for artists of all levels to practise, learn, and connect.

Art for Kids

I have over 10 years of experience teaching art and conducting workshops across a wide range of educational settings—from public secondary schools in Singapore to specialised institutions like the School of the Arts (SOTA) and international environments such as UWCSEA Dover. Through my studio, Arterly Obsessed, I also design and lead numerous school programmes and teach children aged 3–12, nurturing creativity through structured yet playful art experiences. Across all these contexts, I focus on developing strong foundational skills, encouraging personal expression, and creating engaging, thoughtful learning environments for students of all ages.
